Header Dot Dahab

Sub Dot Night Life
Nightlife is subdued, but often divers and surfers organize great full moon parties, either by the beach or in one of the upscale hotel’s discos. More often, evenings transcur chatting away between a shisha and the other, listening to 70’s music and meeting up with the very sociable local scene. Dahab has an impressive wind record with around 300 days a year of wind between Force 4 and 7. It also has the benefit of a range of conditions to suit all levels of windsurfer and kite-surfer. Many international competitions are held in town every year. A range of other less extreme and more relaxed water-sports are available as well, from top-class snorkelling to canoeing, glass-bottom boats and much more. The town of Dahab, and in particular the tourist district of Assalah, offers a big number of dining options, with the long row of bars and restaurants along the pretty and busy sea promenade. Going out after sunset in Assalah is a nice experience. The promenade, adorned with palm trees, offers great shopping at the million outlets selling traditional original Bedouin handicrafts, and great value for money.
