Visit Memphis and its colossal statue of Ramesses II, the Step Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara, then the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx (camel ride optional).
Explore the Grand Egyptian Museum, then Coptic Cairo: the Hanging Church, St George, St Barbara and Ben Ezra Synagogue.
Fly to Luxor, visit Karnak Temple and its Great Hypostyle Hall, then Luxor Temple. Board your Nile cruise for lunch and dinner.
See the Colossi of Memnon, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Valley of the Kings (Tutankhamun’s tomb optional), then sail to Edfu.
Visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu by horse-drawn carriage, then the temple of Sobek and Haroeris at Kom Ombo, and sail to Aswan.
