Egypt’s deserts cover roughly 90% of the country, and most visitors never see past the Nile Valley. A desert safari is where that changes — jeep convoys crossing open sand, Bedouin guides who read the terrain the way a sailor reads water, and a night sky with none of the light pollution of Cairo or the resort towns.
Why our desert safaris are built differently. We work with Bedouin drivers and guides native to the areas we visit, which means real route knowledge rather than a fixed loop. Vehicles are checked and fuel-and-water stocked for the distances involved, and camp dinners are cooked on-site rather than trucked in pre-made.
Desert safari experiences we offer:
4×4 jeep safaris across the Eastern or Western Desert
Camel trekking with a Bedouin guide
Sandboarding on the dunes near Fayoum or the Western Desert
Overnight camping with a traditional Bedouin dinner and stargazing
Multi-day expeditions combining the Black Desert, White Desert, and desert oases
These trips run from Cairo, Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, or as standalone multi-day expeditions from the Bahariya Oasis. Group sizes stay small by design, and every safari includes safety briefings, proper 4×4 vehicles, and a guide who speaks your language as well as the desert’s.
